ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Numerous initiatives have been launched to stimulate and support researchers in beginning entrepreneurial projects alongside activities aimed at encouraging entrepreneurial attitudes between students and graduates.
In fact, the Department supports the creation of spin-offs and start-ups by offering services that facilitate the creation processes of new businesses. In this context, the FOR.MED.LAB. s.r.l.,should be noted, a spin off generated by the Forensic Toxicology Laboratory.
We also mention the spin-off MODA METRICS , which counts the following professors from the Department among its members: Lorenzo Compagnucci, researcher in applied economics; Paolo Sernani, from computer engineering; Giorgia Vulpiani, from private law; and Francesca Spigarelli, professor of applied economics.
There are numerous initiatives from national and international projects in which the Department participates, offering services for future entrepreneurs, new entrepreneurs, and entrepreneurs in difficulty, including the ACCENT HELPDESK.
The Department has also developed an industrial doctoral program, co-funded by UniMC, the regional government, and companies with at least one office/production unit in the Marche Region. This advanced and highly specialized program has served to strengthen both cooperation and the co-creation of knowledge by academics and local non-academic partners.
